Default Transmission Tuning with DS inTune

My usual opening line: I apologize if this isn't the right spot for this thread.

Been playing with my recently purchased I1000 and I like what I've got so far but I was wondering if theres a good place to start with the transmission - shift points or firmness. I don't plan on doing data logging or dyno or dragging. Just a daily driver/weekend warrior with a couple of mods and I'm trying to get the most out of my tuner without doing the previously mentioned.

Current Setup (if it helps)
09 w/ 5.7 and 3.55 gears
285/65/20s (35x11.5ish)
2.5F/1.75R Leveling Kit
AFE Stage 1 Intake
DIY Oil Catch
87 Octane Tune w/ 89 in the tank
10% Throttle Boost

I'm sure you'll get allot of people saying contact White Lightning, He's never replied to my e-mail about modifying my tune. Its now 12 days since I sent it, Bad business & he's not getting my $.

Contact HemiFever, he did my tune & its allot better than the canned Diablo tunes

Thank you for the heads up. That's unfortunate that you're having that experience with a much used resource, hopefully there's a legitimate reason on his part.

I've seen White Lightning and HemiFever brought up a lot on here. How do you contact them? How do they operate? Do you send them the tuner to program or do you have to take your truck to them?

You pay them, they email you the tune, you download it to your unit, done.

You can also buy the tuner with the tune on it directly

here is a link you could use

That sounds easy enough. Thanks for that info!

Has anyone found good numbers without purchasing custom tunes?

If you want a good custom tune then pm MGH. He works with Josh at HHP and they should be able to get you situated.

MGH's stock trans tune kept CHVYKLR's stock transmission intact through a bunch of dyno pulls and 10+ track passes with 500/583 at the wheels.

I messaged MGH a few days ago and I haven't heard back from him yet.

Are there any other suggestions on some numbers to try out or just general tweaks?

I realize paying for a tried and true tune is probably the best bet but like a lot of others, i'm running on a budget but I'm still looking to utilize my DS inTune as much as possible. I appreciate any and all guidance on this transmission tuning.

I'll text him and mention your pm. We've been busy tearing down transmissions for some of our maple leaf brethren.

Thanks TaderzNgravy! MGH PMed me almost as soon as I posted that. He has been overly helpful and very patient with my newb-ness! I'm not a stranger to mechanics at all but this tuning stuff is very new to me.
