Default Its pretty loud

I haven't heard a Flo or Magna in person on my exact truck, but I know that on my 12' Sport that the cold start is awesome. On top of that, I have a pretty beefy audio setup and I know that I can hear my exhaust still when I hit the gas and the music is crankin. I don't know if you are looking for a loud rumble all the time, but a constant drone seems pretty undesirable. That is why I opted for the BORLA in the 1st place- its loud when I want it to be but I dont have to deal with a constant drone while I dog around at less than 2,000 rpm in Eco mode. That'd drive me nuts!

Happy Huntin sir; I love my Borla.... but I am contemplating going to a true dual setup if it will go well with headers (near future).

I will take an in cabin vid if I get the time this weekend for you.

I am still on here, just not as much. If anyone has any questions please PM me and I will answer them.

The question I get the most is if you need to adjust the tips. Yes, you will need to adjust the tips.

And for parts if you decide you want to tackle this yourself. You will need a Borla #40085 Muffler, some 3 in Pipe (roughly 7-10 inches), a 3" in to 2.25" out Y-Pipe, and a welder. The Muffler and Y-Pipe is available from Bully's Performance, a reputable muffler shop should be able to install this setup with ease.

Its been close to a year since I installed this setup on my Ram and I have noticed that it has gotten louder over time, probably a few decibels, nothing crazy. But it does sound real good and I get compliments on it quite often. I am on the fence about cutting off the resonators, but I might as I don't see me installing headers for a while, maybe once I get out of the Army and return to Texas.

Does single borla xr1 pop? I had true duals with two xr1s and it popped during acceleration.took then off and put factory single 3" pipe with maggy Y pipe to factory resonators and tips and no popping.why is that?? I was thinking of buting one xr1 back on but i dont want it to pop. Does single xr1 pop?
