Mine did not require any additional parts in order to fit. Everything laid out worked as planned and sounds absolutely amazing.

did you have to adjust the tips? my tips are welded on from the factory and the pipe to the tips are spot welded and clamped.

I don't recall having to do anything with the tips for this install. Everything was pretty user friendly.

I have been meaning to upload a vid of the cold start with this setup since its been single digit temps this last month or so, sounds awesome.

Your muffler shop will make the exact cuts and weld it in correctly so that they do not have to do any work down the line...so to speak.
This is something an exhaust shop does daily and you should be ok

is there a reason for the short pipe from the muffler to the y pipe rather than directly welding the y to the muffler and having a longer pipe on the other end ? is for a fitting adjustment ?

OK I have been going back and forth over a FM or Maggie. Now after hearing the amazing sound of your ride I am thinking Borla man! Wow! I love it. Just wondering, how much louder than stock is this setup, inside and out?

Exactly! They will make all the cuts and weld whatever pieces to make sure it all fits. IMO they made it look better than stock because the stock tip now sticks out a 1/2 from the rear instead of directly under...just makes it looks beefier.

It's just a fitting adjustment, my shop welded my y directly to the muffler and added 2 extensions to the y to make it fit back to the stock tailpipes nicely.

I'll take some pics of the setup later today.

If general loudness is what you want than you don't want to go with this muffler. Its definitely much louder than stock when you floor it but I wouldn't call it one of the loudest mufflers out there. It gives a strong throaty growl but at idle and cruising you wont really hear it from the cab.

Its a muffler that, if you go to work at 5:30am like me, won't wake up your neighbors if you drive under 3000 rpm....but once you venture over that get ready to receive some angry calls
