why didn't you go with the 3" FXRs? The gap is not bad with them.

they look great and it is certainly the one mod I have on the radar. But I don't wanna blind other drivers with HID's in a stock halogen housing, even if it's just the fogs. Certainly HID's in the stock projector housings are street legal I am sure.

Because the 3" Fxr is not really a real projector. The Fxr has been copied many times, size changed etc. The only true FXR projector which came of infinity btw is 2.5". The 3" i should not say is a real projector its actually a pretty dam good copy and the light output is the same. Been doing retros for a bit and have felt with another retrofitter for a while. I can defiantly tell you that once you work with them for a bit you will see the quality not light output difference. Mind you the retrofit source ones are great.

Im not sure if there is one. You could do it yourself, or send it out to my buddy here at linuxglobal. Here are some pics after i did mine.

$650 is cheap when you factor in the cost of the lights, the adapter harness for a pre '13 swap, the materials to do the job, and the projector retrofit materials. My swap with the LED halos, LED running lights, and building my harness before JJ had his harness for sale, my lights are around $2300.
