Default What makes an R/T an R/T?

Fellas,
No beating me up and yes, I tried searching but must not be searching for right topic, but what really makes the R/T different from any other Ram 1500 besides the R/T badge and the 22" wheels? It seems as though you can get everything else it has on a properly equipped Sport to include 3.92 gears and anti-spin rear. Just trying to get educated.

other than those few things its the same truck, but you cant order a 2wd sport regular cab thats not a r/t

I just had to ask because I almost bought one, but with 4 kids, the reality of a reg cab truck just wasn't going to cut it. When building my crew cab, I saw I could get everything the R/T had except the badge and wheels.

It's basically the badge and wheels that are exclusive to the R/T, but it also has some features as standard equipment that are optional on all of the other Sport models. The 3.92 rear axle, anti-spin rear differential and the sport performance hood are three that I know of for sure.

The suspension is stiffer and it has better upgrades to the interior the badge the wheels the stall speed and the rear as far as 2014 dont know dont care f the 8 speed lol

no way your getting the same suspension those build logs are not really on the money not sure what has changed in 2014 but in 2011 you buy a sport and turn into an r/t bt it would actually cost you more

Also not sure if its lighter but when i bought my r/t and it was stock i raced a sport that had a cai and beat him by 2 trucks
