Weird my Sport 1500 came with this Raised Ride height also and i inquired about it with Ram Customer service and was advised that it is nothing special and the Raised ride height was included with all trucks that came with Factory 20' rims.

Sound like they may be wrong does anybody have raised ride height with factory 17" rims

I don't think you'll find a stock RAM 1500 with 17" wheels along with the "Raised Ride Height" option. All of the trucks I've seen with "Raised Ride Height" had 20" wheels on them.

The Outdoorsman trucks also have a different front valance to give a little give approach angle (along with the raise front end).

So keep in mind that if you order a lift kit or a leveling kit, you will be 0.75" higher on the front than what the kit says. Therefore a 2.5" leveling spacer will not work for you, you'd need to go 2" to avoid problems with CV shaft angles. That problem would go away if you leveled with Bilsteins though.
.

I've been wondering how much that XZNP code on my truck ('13 Express Quad 4x4) equaled in numbers. 3/4" is totally believable for clearance on the 20" rim/tire combo. That set-up on that truck does give it a somewhat awesome stance for a completely factory stock vehicle.

I read somewhere that its an additional 1" and comes stock on the sport and outdoorsman models.

Mine has it, and to all other sport owners, I'd be willing to bet that if you got a hold of your build sheet, its on there too.

an extra inch never hurts!!!!!!!!!!

so adding bilsteins at 2.1" will only raise it 1.35"?

I'll have to disagree with this statement.

I have " Raised Ride Height " on my build sheet which also has the 17" wheels listed.

.

Here's a reply from ChryCo engineering on the Raised Ride Height sales code :

It (XZNP) applies to vehicles that require a different mount during the build process when extra clearance is required due to such things as 20" wheels being selected. It is not an option that is selected when ordering the vehicle, rather it is determined to be needed by the options on the vehicle during the build process.

On an Outdoorsman, yes.

I disagree with this also, my Outdoorsman has the "Raised Ride Height" option.

I've got "XZNP Raised Ride Height" on my '13 Big Horn with 20" wheels.
