Default little mod

Several more substantial mods planned but as my son's season started last week and Opening Day this week he wouldn't let go of me moving over my gear shifter from my previous Jeep

That's pretty sweet! very original.

Reminds me of my dad's old pick ups with the manual shifter on the floor. The little cap with the R-1-2-3-4-5 Was the exact size of a beer bottle cap. So he had his favorite beer cap pressed in there. It was awesome!

ah, that's a good idea too!

we made this one last year from an old game ball. drilled a hole in the ball just a hair smaller than the post. The rubber core of the ball holds it plenty secure and it's reversible when you want with no significant change to the truck.

I coach his team so I often have some of his team with us, they all think it's the coolest thing they've ever seen.

Whatever it takes to get cool dad points right

Gotta get the cool dad points.. Can't be the lame dad driving the cool Ram.. Gotta have both

great shifter, looks real good.. Now if only I could mount a hockey puck or a football to my column shifter and make it look half that good
