Well, the mods have definitely slowed down. Other expenses (engagement ring) got in the way. But all of this not modding is driving me crazy, so tomorrow I'm going to take on a small project. My emblems have bugged me since I bought the truck, so I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place. I bought some Mopar color match spray paint and tomorrow I'll primer, paint, and clearcoat my front and rear rams head. But I have a question for you guys. My truck is two tone, so should I two tone paint the front emblem, because it comes apart, or should I just black it out? Any suggestions are welcome!

I have seen a few 2 tones and really liked them.
I say do it.
I think the fronts are the only one that can separate but can be wrong. I have yet to play around with my rear ones.

I say 2 tone

Decided to go with the two tone. Here are some teaser photos. The grey in the pics is just a primer. Final product will be color matched grey. Really wanting to find a way to do the same to the back emblem...

Very nice!
Regarding the back...there are a few members that did it and you will need to tape it off carefully

as for the calipers, duplicolor makes a pretty easy to use caliper painting kit. Either aerosol or paint brush
The kit is pretty good remember it's all in the prep work I painted my front red and still have to do the rears clean good, dry and multiple coats. and yes they do have different colors I went to Auto Zone I figured I knew what I was getting.

Well, my first attempt at two toning the back did NOT work. Did more damage than good. I'll post a pic later. In the meantime, I'm starting over. New emblem and new technique.

Decided that I'm going to two tone the front, but not the back. It's just too much of a headache. I bought a new emblem and I don't want to mess up ANOTHER one. Here's what I did to the first one.... (it's a long story and kind of embarrassing)

But on a positive note... I've always preferred the 2011+ rear emblem without DODGE across the top, instead of the one on my 2010. So I bought one of those.
