UPDATE !
ok everything install and running fine !!
but for the install we see that not just the carrier was different but the axle too ,the zf axle have 2 different size length du to carrier interior gear ,and the older style 9.25 axle are the same size with the older carrier so to have it done on the rear end , you have 1. to drill out the ring gear to accept the zf bolt, but in my case i didn't want to drill the ring gear so i swap all the internal , the carrier , and axle , so no modification was need to do. and for the front it was piece of cake !

So......I'd like to put a Detroit Locker in the rear of my 2011 ZF. From the information above, It sounds like I would need to 9.25 axle shafts and the donated 3.92 R&P and I would be good?

I don't need or want to do a gear change. The current 3.92 is fine since I don't ever plan to go larger than 33 inch tires using the existing 17 in wheels

ok sorry guy's , for the internal all the 9.25 chrysler 2006-2010 ram 1500 will work , but if you swap the carrier , you have to swap both axle too, because of the length, the gear i have is cobra gear 4.56 , if you want to keep the zf internal , you have to drill out the ring gear to accept the bigger bolt zf has , and when you put the ring gear to the carrier, the stud that keep the small gear in place did not fit because the ring gear is so huge , you have to grind the tooth a little to put the stud in place, for the detroit locker , you have to take both axle from a 2006-2010 ram 1500 and a detroit locker that fit in a 9.25 rear end chrysler, you cannot use the ring and pinion you actually have because zf is not compatible with detroit a the moment , so you have to buy the older style gear for a 9.25 diff and for the front diff you just have to swap the gear and pinion , no custom fitting need if you have question guy's let me know
