I straight piped mine with a $30 Magnaflow SS y-pipe off ebay, I loved it. Stock manifolds and cat though, yours will probably sound different.

I tried to pm you but I wanted to know what high flow cats you bought? And when you say cats, did you run true duals? I'm going to order some headers a y-pipe and a cat but aren't sure which cat to get. I need to pass emissions. Waiting on my 4" Bully Dog catback to come in. Went with the 4" to try to get rid of the slapping sound. Do you have a video clip of your exhaust?

No do not straight pipe it. You need some back-pressure, and the cat is not sufficient enough. You'll be adjusting your valves every month.

Nope, to me a set of good turbo mufflers or three chamber Flowmaster sounds so sweet on a V8.

I would not do this unless you are planning on racing your truck. I would suggest getting some exhaust cutouts this can let you choose whether or not to go straight or through the muffler.

If you go straight you will probably be breaking some of the emission laws of you state
