Default Engine ticking making me nuts

There's a tick in my engine thats making me nuts. Still warrantied, so i took it to the dealer and they replaced the belt thinking that was it. Still have the noise and a friend told me he thinks maybe it's the rockers making the noise.

Any suggestions on what else it could be? I have 85K on the engine.

I had a ticking like that, it used to come and go, I switched over to full synthetic and for me it stopped doing it. Don't know if that can help you.

Your engine doesn't have rockers. It uses a system of lash adjusters and cam followers and a lash adjuster could be the cause.

I threw some Sea Foam in the oil fill and gas tank today with the hopes that maybe it would clean it a bit and quit the noise. Didn't do much. And I also saw a video on you tube that says U need to change the oil a hundred miles or so after Sea Foam is used. Woops........guess I'll be doing premature oil change tommorow. Well no better time to throw some synth in and see if that helps!

So I did an oil change with Mobil 1 synthetic and Fram Ultra filter. It may be wishful thinking, but I believe it sounds a little quieter as far as the tic is concerned, but it"s still there. I'm gonna burn the rest of the gas in the tank then go to 89 and see if theres a change.
