Default Those with mufflex dodm80 (muffler delete) on a 4th gen, please step in

Hey guys
Recently sold my 07 1500 for a new 1500 Sport. Iam getting ready to pull the trigger on either the mufflex dod14m or dodm80. I am nervous about getting the 14 bc I dont want to kick myself for it not being as loud as I'd like (Iam coming from sports cars w long tubes and catless mid pipes...so I like loud hehe) So thats where the muffler delete would come in. I know the soud will be amazing...My concern here is
A)Loss of Hp/Torque (esp low end)
B)Loss in MPG
I just dont know how these new hemis react to no muffler and backpressure and all
So my question to anyone with the delete is...Any loss in power..or mpg?
I dont wanna sacrafice the power for sound. If theres a chance it'll drop...Id get the 14
Any info will be greatly appreciated!!!

Dont go with a muffler delete. I have the 14 and sounds great. If you go with a muffler delete you are going to lose some low end, but maybe gain a little on the upper end. Another thing is the drone from inside the cab will get annoying the 14 sounds good a crisp

Mine is a 18" Magnaflow knock off muffler. It's a 3" inlet, 2.5" outlet and you can see straight through the internal pipes of the muffler. No loss of power, no decrease in fuel mileage and the 18" is perfect for sound levels. It's quiet below 2k rpms, then it gets loud and nasty as the rpms rise.

I agree..don't do muffler delete....maybe cat deletes and do cutouts if you want it loud.. i for one like it quiet and stealthy...but when another truck pulls up with a louder exhaust and then starts revvin, I flip a switch and watch their eyes bug out
