Does anyone know if part #82209986 (fold flat floor) will fit my 2013 Quad SLT? I am getting 2 different stories from both my local Dodge dealers, really not impressed with the dealers.
From what I have found this part will fit 2006-2008 ram 1500's none of the 4th gen ram 1500's here is the source of this informations http://www.mopar.com/part/82209986
when i clicked on the vehicle applications part of the above link it shows that it will fit up to the 2010s i would think it would fit all 4th gen quads my 2011 came with it from the factory
I have no idea why Chrysler don't make a kit because there is definitely a market. I'll buy the materials today but at a high of -15C this week I'll wait for warmer weather to make the part and install it.
My 2013 SLT came from factory with "Folding Flat Load Floor Storage". Are you looking for the plastic fold out under the rear seats that folds out flat?
Just Google it. Tons of info and pictures on various forums, take a look and you be the judge. They can even be installed in a Crew just that the floor will be 5" or so short of the front seat. I've got them installed in my 2012 Crew.
The new ones are carpeted covered plastic. Been that way for a long time. The old ones (up to 05 I think) were metal which sounds better but in use lets the cargo slide everywhere. I've had both kinds, never had any issues with the plastic ones and my stuff stays in place.
And they are not standard. They came in certain packages or as an option on Quad Cabs. If they ever make them for a Crew, they will probably have to be 3 pc so they fit under the seat. I think that is why you haven't seen them yet. Been rumors for years that they are coming.
This is actually one of the things that bugs me about dodge, why can't they make their floors completely flat, like Ford has been doing for a while. Losing those extra inches can make a big difference at times.
Has anyone built a flat load floor for their crew cab? When I get my truck this week I plan on building one for my dog. I'll post the plans I used if no one else has one.
I'd love to see the finished product! My truck is on order, and this was one of my "Futureproofing" options that I couldn't get. If it works well and pretty simple to put together, I'll probably make one!
My CC is on order with the fold flat floor, of course I need to actually get the truck first and that may be awhile. It would be nice to actually see one but it seems there are none out yet.
They leave the Cup Holder exposed, because the 3 rd person would logically sit behind the driver
I have the whole floor back there covered in tools, map books, suit cases & in the summer here, i also keep a cooler back there
When I ordered a '13 Ram HD Laramie, my dealer printed out a spec sheet for me. On it was listed Fold Flat Floor storage (CVN).
I had assumed this was the Fold Flat Floor, I had in my '04 Quad Cab, since it was the same option code, but now I'm thinking it
might be something different for the Crew and Mega cabs..
The reason is because on Ram's HD section for pix, they have be below showing...
I'm wonder now, if they just recycled the old Fold Flat Floor code of CVN and set it up where the seat actually folds down...
The owner's manual shows the crew cab fold flat floor to be the same kind as the ones on the quad cabs. Only the HD trucks have the kind where the seat folds down.
Well, I got my CC on Friday and to my surprise, it included a load flat floor like in the QC's. It even fits all the way to the seats. It's weird, I test drove a 6 speed before I ordered mine, and it didn't have the option. I guess I only have to build something to go inside the cupholders to protect my dog's feet now.

When I ordered, there was no option for it... But my dealer gave me a print out of what was standard equipment on the Laramie Crew and it had Fold Flat (CVN)... I'm still waiting for mine to be built to see it with my own eyes.
