lol 05ram, that would be pretty sweet to do it all.. looking at prices, I think for now I will limit myself to an exhaust and a CAI.. The S&B looks like a very nice intake, I will do some more research upon it. The exhaust choice is still in the air, I am liking the flowmaster super44 duels, been watching a bunch of videos of people showing them off.

and damn.. 8.3L v10, how many sets of tires do you go through a year lol?

As to my exhaust that is pretty much the set up i have however my muffler is stainless and so is the rest of my exhaust. My exhaust also exits the side of the bumpers verusus out the back. In addition i used 2.25 pipe (from the muffler outlets) versus 2.5. IMHO i have found that this diameter pipe provides a more aggressive sound and resonation versus the larger diameter pipe is more raspy but to each his/her own.

P.S. My exhaust was not a kit i bought, i took it to a muffler shop and told them what i wanted and they welded it up.

Hm, I think I will drop by a muffler shop tomorrow during the day just to get a price estimate, because I would prefer side exits, and a more aggressive sound. How does yours sound when at idle?

Well when you first start it up its rather mellow however once the pipes and muffler heats up the tone deepens greatly. Dont mind me asking but where in ontario are ya? How far from the falls are you? Here is a video for you. Its cold and just started the truck so the pipes are not warm and its not as deep and aggressive but still sounds good -the camera doesnt do it justice as you can tell its a tad distorted but i couldnt be happier with the sound. It doesnt sound like a muscle car- it sounds like a pickup should! Im very big on sound and like i said the sound matches the character of the truck.

That still sounds like a real nice exhaust.

I am just outside Hamilton, so roughly hour- hour and 20 mins from the falls.
