Default Need feedback on Mopar exhaust

Does anyone have any experience with the mopar exhaust? I'm looking for something a little louder but not annoying. I like the idea of using the factory piece so I can retain my warranty.

No muffler will void your warranty unless it is too small and chokes the engine. The Mopar sounds and performs good according to the few on here who have it. There are much cheaper options that will fit your requirements. The 18" Magnaflow is the most popular choice on here. It has a great sound that an adult will appreciate... As will your neighbors.lol A Magnaflow will cost you under 200 bucks total to be welded in and will only take 30 to 45 minutes at a muffler shop. It will not void your warranty.

Thanks for your input. The salesman told me only mopar parts would not void warranty. I do remember reading on the dodge site that aftermarket parts don't necessarily void warranty but they weren't too specific. I just don't want to get screwed later on.

No problem. As long as you don't mess with the catalytic convertors, they can't deny you powertrain warranty.

Ok. That sounds cool. Gives me a lot more options. Does this apply to other mods as well. Such as cai, lifts, wheels, etc?

Pretty much. Lift kits and oversize wheels/tires can be tricky. they change suspension geometry and increase load forces on ball joints, wheel bearings and such. Choose wisely.
CAI's you should be fine on. Just don't expect much from one, our stock intake flows really good. It's not like it was 5-10 years ago when these simple bolt ons could make 20+ hp easily. Most vehicles these days are running very near peak efficiency. A CAI and cat back system on these trucks might make 10 more hp and are just not cost effective in my book.
Avoid the Mopar CAI, there is a lot of negative feedback on here about them performing poorly.

Things like mufflers, wheels, brakes, after market covers, like for the rear end, engine dress up kits, catch cans, different air fiter or oil filter brand, etc. don't have any effect on the warranty

The sales people are not the people to ask about warranties anyway
That is done by the Service Dept, if they discover a problem & it was caused by a product that is not from MOPAR, then they consider whether your after market part could have really caused to problem

I use a different motor oil & filter then what they sell & they always service my Ram, using my products. My transmission & differential fluid is Royal Purple, but i use the 2 transmission filters from MOPAR
