Default Halfway there...RCX 6" w/35s

Okay guys....this has been the craziest situation over the past 3 months...yes....3 months. I had my truck sent in to Myers Speed and Van shop in Hamilton NJ, in late august. I had the guy install a 6 inch RCX lift and 35 in toyo open Country Mud terrains w/ atx ledge 188 wheels. Well here I am 3 months later and I still dont have my truck. But!, I will have it monday lol. But you will notice that the tires and rims in the attached photo are not Toyos, yes, they are BfGs. Toyo mud terrains are apparently on national back order. So the guy from myers has given me a different story every day for the past three months on why the truck has been taking so long and why I havent seen my tires. Its been a mess and I just got my tires yesterday. They look great and are being put on tomorrow. The truck is in the shop with a broken axle because the somebody, while handling my truck managed to break it. Needless to say im getting a new one for free. But if anybody in my area is planning on getting any parts for their trucks, STAY AWAY FROM MYERS SPEED AND VAN SHOP. It has been the most unprofessional experience, and Im only 18, that I have ever dealt with. The truck in the picture is on the flatbed after i had it towed somewhere else in between the lift process, but I figured it would give you a picture on how it looks 6 inches higher, but with the stock tires. I will update soon with the finished product!!! Shes getting rhino lined rocker panels and fender flares soon!

Heres the two teaser pics!

I hope it turns out well. If it took them three months to complete a fairly simple job, I'd be scared to death they screwed something else up in the process. My advice would be to document every conversation with them. I'd also take the truck to another shop and explain what you just went through and ask if they will give your truck a lookover. If you tell them you are looking for a new shop to deal with because of the experience, they will probably inspect it for free.

I took the truck back to the dodge dealer and had their lift specialist look over it, they said it was okay, it just voided my warranties I bought for it.

I've never gone to school for anything, I've always just turned my own wrenches and learned along the way building my cars. If your mechanically inclined and have a good set of tools to use, you shouldn't have too tough a time completing this task. The instructions are quite detailed, and if you have done wheel bearings, cv axles, or front end components before, it should be straight forward for you. Good luck!

I don't think I would be paying for it. I know I would not have been with out my truck for 3 days let alone 3 months. It shouldn't be that long not sure how it could have been dragging on for that long.
