Default Hughes Plenum Installed

I installed my new Hughes Plenum kit over the weekend. Thank you to all of you who have posted your experience with blown plenum gaskets. I would not have been able to pinpoint the issue without the help of this forum.

To reiterate:

Symptoms:
1. Rough idle
2. Lack of power especially while in over drive.
3. Clogged Cat
4. Cruse Control turns on, but does not maintain speed
5. Oil consumption

Here's pics from the job.

Notice that the blown gasket I replaced was not the original for the vehicle.

Nice work, I just re-seal my engine and didn't notice mine until it was almost to late. My gasket had been sucked inwards instead of being push outwards. Pretty strange stuff if you asked me because everything was running just fine. Only re-sealed the engine because I overheated causing a blown head gasket between the steam port and cylinder and thought I may as well throw all new gaskets in it too.

Did you use the Hughes Kit or just replace the gasket?
