Question Performance Chip Recommendation?

I'm seeing a lot of inexpensive performance chips ($25 and under) on eBay that claim to increase horsepower by +35 and increase fuel mileage up to +5 MPGs.

Do these really work?

Does anyone use them?

Are they a waste of money?

Thanks,

Tom C.

Waste of money. Usually they are just a resistor or something

1) No.
2) Nobody that i've ever met, or anyone that would admit to buying one.
3) Yes.

LOL, don't bite, those chips are worthless, I bought one years ago to fit in my Supra, as mentioned it's just a resistor in a wrapped in plastic. Mine was a MAF replacment thingy and it did NOTHING at all so I put mine back to stock a few hours later. It may preform different on a Dodge but I doubt it.

Thanks guys. I wasn't biting on the eBay ads and need to get some recommendations first. Yes, they all claim to be resistors. Good feedback. Much appreciated. Rep points for everyone!
