slow-at-rc - Nice pic! It can't be easy keeping both the truck and trailer clean.

Here's one of my truck pulling my Dad's trailer/car yesterday. Estimated to be about 4500 pounds altogether. I could barely tell it was back there with that Cummins.

Haha definitely the car. It dyno'd at 721 HP and 656 ft-lbs. So far it's run a 10.41 @ 128 MPH but it should be doing better. We have some more ideas on how to tweak the suspension to make it a little better. Getting some weight out of it would help too.... it's still a full steel body car with a full interior in it so it's pretty heavy.

The car has some good numbers, but how is the weight distributed? Is more of the weight in the front or back of the car? I know most folks that race try to get as close to 50/50 as possible.

I forget what the distribution numbers were... but it will definitely be front heavy. The key is getting the weight transfer to the back on the launch, that's why we have to do some more tweaking with the suspension. I think over the winter I'll be building some custom brackets for the ladder bar suspension so we can set it up even lower and get that weight transfer back further. Right now it's just not doing what we want.

I see what your talking about now, some suspension tweaks should help.

Speaking of kids, had to go pick up almost $100 of stuff for my odest daughter's school project!
Excuse the crappy cell phone pic.

Light work...I like it! :P
