I have dreams of that picture being taken from the back of MY TRUCK! Especially the headers. Unfortunately BBK just shattered my dreams of having ceramic coated headers for a decent price, because I have a 4X4! I've gotten no real answer as to why it won't work, just something on the passenger side won't let it fit!! .. So now I need to save a bit longer and get em not with ceramic.
Also, I've always been a Rhino Liner guy, but for some reason I just have to have a carpet this time with a T-Cover. Don't know why, it just is!
So good luck tomorrow and I can't wait to see the after pic and vids!!!

Stared on it at 7am. Headers were installed by 9....new mid pipe is fabbed up and welded out. Stopped to grab some lunch...about to bolt it in and throw the cat-back on.
Pics and video later this evening.

Only two hours on the headers??!!! Wow! I've read so many others say it was an all day project. When doing my CAI, it took me half an hour just to get the wheel liner out!

A fully stocked shop, lift and air tools make all the difference.
I'm done now...it's on the ground and test drive complete.

Got some pics...the video I did with my phone barely has any sound. Dunno what happened but I'll try again tomorrow.
Here's the headers all nice and shiny.

And just in case nobody has ever looked under their truck...this is what lives there. Obviously this is how much of it I replaced.

New mid pipe welded out. I made the end of the Y a slip fit and used a band clamp...making the whole thing removable in about 10 minutes. I figure it'll come in handy for trans swaps. Yes, I got lazy and used the MIG...it was sitting there all set up and ready. lol

Passenger side looking across.

Driver side...

Weird angle....I promise those bends are smooth radius. I wouldn't build something with those angles in it.

Slip fit Y for easy removal.

And a nice parting shot. I have to cut the tips off and move them, one was welded on crooked and they both stick out entirely too far.

BEST LOOKING Y-PIPE ON THE FORUMS!

I really can't stand some of the ones I've seen, with crushed pipes, non stainless, crappy welds, etc.
I can't wait to see what JBA is coming out with for out Y-pipe dilemmas.

Thanks. I got in a hurry and didn't fit it as well as I should have. Had to fill in a few gaps here and there so the welds are what they are. I figure nobody is gonna crawl under there and look so screw it. lol

Awesome work! You do better work than an exhaust shop. And make me feel like a slacker seeing as you just bought this stuff and did it right away, and I've had my stuff sitting in the garage for over a month LOL...
