The K40 Elite is just the updated K40... I have the standard K40 and love it...

They're both over priced toys that don't do anything different than a $30 coffee maker. And not to mention k-cup prices.

you are right on the over price. the thing is my wife doesn't understand that you can actually brew less than a pot full of coffee..... I end up tossing a lot of coffee.. the plan is get the filter to brew my coffee not the kcups... ill probably end up saving money.... coffee is expensive!!!!

I agree with this, but I have a Keurig at work which is handy and quick, so worth the premium price for me But at home I use a French Press, cheap and can't beat the taste of the coffee. To the OP SlimPartyWagon is correct from my understanding.

Keurig is an overpriced lazy way to make coffee. The "special" k-cups are very expensive!

I have two coffee makers on the counter. Keurig costs me 55 cents for a large coffee if I use k-cup, or about 3 cents if I use the k-cup you fill with your favorite coffee. Depends on what I want.

Have a nice 12 cup coffeemaker if needed.
