Default I hate to beat a dead horse, but I have two issues...

I just got some sport mirrors for my ST, shout out to ghostknife, and i wanted to know if anyone had a post about getting the lights working.

I heard some people saying the dealer code works, and others not, I an just looking for a difinative way to follow to get it done.

I also some onther people just spliced the wires of another set of wires to the blinker and dome light i believe? just curious how that worked

Also my driver side light in the mirror has condensation inside of it, how do i access it to find where it may be cracked?

Ive heard the same ideas to get the lights to work and I thinks its the only way. I believe the wires needed to get the lights to work are not included on the trucks that don't have that style of light from the factory. A lot of people are having issues with water in the puddle light.

I wired in a set of cal-vu mirrors. The turn signal and running lights were tapped off of the trailer harness where it passes under the driver seat and the puddle light I tapped off of the dome light line behind the a-pillar.

I was going to suggest just tapping into the existing harness within the truck. That would be easier than trying to figure out whether or not your rig can support it via the BCM. Tap into the dome light circuit like previously suggested for the puddle lights. And the trailer wiring circuit is a good choice for tapping into since it's already fused for the the added lights. The OEM light harness should be able to handle the slight bit of added load, but just to be sure, I'd tap into something that's not always being used.

As for the condensation, might be something you'll just have to deal with. Even if you get it apart and seal whatever cracks may be there, the sealing of the housing has already been compromised. You may NEVER get all the moisture out. Hopefully the little bit of heat from the lights will help dry everything out.
