Default Adjusting Recons on my 2012 Sport

Now that it's finally getting darker at night here, it's become apparent that my Recons need adjusting. I know there are adj nuts (torx I think) but I was wondering if I can reach in from behind or do I have to remove the whole assembly?
If anyone has done this, any tips are appreciated!

After opening up that flap in the wheel well, I couldn't see anything to adjust. I tried to put my hand in to feel around, but didn't know what I was looking for.(this is getting awkward)
So I just took each of them out and adjusted with a socket. It's gonna have to be trial and error. I'm gonna go for a cruise when it's darker and see if I guessed correctly. If not, then tomorrow I gotta do it again.

On my 2010 I thought the headlights came out like the ones on my 2003, and they don't. I yarded on 'em bigtime and broke the retaining tabs. Anyone that wants to adjust their headlights should remember to lift those tabs so the lights release properly.

Recon should've made adjusting the beam more user friendly. Still love the look of them on my truck though!

I just came back from a cruise and I'm disappointed. What I did had almost zero effect on getting me some more light. The left beam did move to where I almost wanted it. But as far as getting more light down-road, I think some modification will be necessary. I parked in front of a big wall to try and see what I need to do. It looks like there is a semi-circle in front of the bulb that will not let out more light no matter how far up I adjust it.
I will be taking the headlights out again tomorrow to see if anything can done.
I vaguely recall a member (Brad?) who drilled out some room to install HIDS. I'm gonna look around to try and find that post or thread. Maybe I can drill that semi-circle to let more light out.
My fingers are crossed.

I am a new to dodge owner and notice that my high beams are way off in the distence and weak but lows are fine..Been thinkin on a hid kit but im a lil confused as to what i have..
I have a 2010 1500 sport and it seems that my hi and low come from same bulb but below the headlight bulb we have a day time runner light which is off on low beam but on at hi..It comes on as well as a day time runner light...So am i a 4 bulb set up or 2..

Are they like the stock headlights with the adjusters (for up and down angle) being on top of the headlight? I believe that was a 10mm bolt you can access it if you open the hood there is a hole in the fender and you'll need an extension to reach it.
