Default Halo heads and Fogs

i have a friend whom i talk to about diesels almost daily and he has a 2001 Cummins dually and he loves it. and was thinking about gettin some headlights. and when i buy my dodge i'll be buying some as well. but he was telling my of people buying the Halo Headlights and the Halo rings dying/burning out really fast, is this a common problem?? because i don't feel like paying near $300 for a pair of awesome headlights that burn out real fast, not awesome at all. so any help would be appreciated!! thank you!

So you have 2 choices, buy projector headlights with halo rings that come built in and you will have almost no problems!

I Went out and bought the Oracle halo ring kit, there are two types, a SMD which is a bright strip of LEDS in the circular shape of the headlights, and a CCFL which is a glass tube and comes with inverters to power them. If any water gets in the inverter ir connections they break, and then you have to go buy another one but there like 20$

I wouldnt ever get the CCFL kit again or tell anyone to, They didnt sit in the headlights nicely and I spread one maybe half an inch and it snapped...... Not that bright and opening up the headlights is a nightmare if its your first time.

I would recommened halo projector headlights, anywhere from 150-600$.
