You both have the right to your respective opinions.

However, to claim Magnaflow is junk is a harsh statement. Do you have any solid evidence and/or comparison to back the claim, or is this just purely a case of I don't own a certain brand so I think it's junk?

As I've posted on these boards before, prior to my Ram purchase I was a Corsa or Borla or Gibson user exclusively. I'd heard of Magnflow but the aforementioned brands were my choice that served me very well so I was happy. I researched the beejeesus out of catback exhausts for these 4th Gen Rams and EVERYTHING led me back to the
Magnaflow in my sig. It's the best all-round exhaust I've used to date.

I'm a few short steps away from purchasing a new Shelby 500 or RT and Magnaflow, based on my current experience, is on the top of my list for exhaust swap.

To each their own I guess.....

that's the beauty about having our independent personalities and tastes (or we'd all be robot's)... what's music to one's ears is not to another... that goes for appearance as well...some like to drop, some lift, some like bling, some like a sleeper look... we all agree that our Mopar's are sexy any way we want to make it..

im glad to see someone had some input on the solo exhaust. sorry to see you got pounded with the magnaflows though. haha. i love the magnaflows too, and have had them before, but the shop i use is now going with solo and flow pro.

unfortunately for me, my thread looking for input on solo and flow pro, only attracted snrusak (which his advice was helpful), but i definatly thought it would have generated more discussion.

As I stated in my original posts about this , I found the perfect exhaust For Me, and on the first try. Check out Solo's 4th. Gen. video on youtube, that's a large part of the reason I went with them, along with all the exhaust testing that has gone on over at the Challengerforumz. And I have tried Magnaflows twice, they just aren't quite loud enough For Me.

You know, a lot of people have Magnaflows and are very happy with them, and I'm happy for them. But personally, I like a little more rumble than what I got when I tried them on my old 340 Demon, and when I tried them on my paxton blower equipped '03 4.7 Dakota. Within a week they both were switched out for the old stand-by flowmasters. My next progect however, will start out with the little-known brand FLOWMONSTER mufflers. Their mufflers and different pipe setups look interesting!

that's why you need to look into cutouts...your not stuck with just one tone, I went with the biggest magnaflow because I wanted a very stealthy muscular tone exhaust that can be heard at wot..then, when I have the nascar urge, I pop open the cutouts and outloud everyone...

here is how quiet it sounds at wot..closed cutouts..

and with cutouts open..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=q_OXgrOk5k8

and it's just a flip of the switch..

and not obnoxiously loud when goin wot...

The hemi is a totally different animal and it loves to breathe... flowmasters held me back while I was modding up and since I swapped to mags, my times have dropped further...
