Default Washer fluid

Anyone know what kind of washer fluid dodge uses? I used to use Rain-X in my old Jeep and liked it until I tried to wash it off one day. No amount of scrubbing with Dawn, or anything else would take it off! Granted, I didn't wash the old thing a whole lot, But I really don't want to use something on my new RAM that won't come off with the regular washing that I now do.

I have always used RainX washer fluid in all my ram trucks. I'm just curious, but what do you mean by you couldnt wash it off? Why would you want to wipe the RainX off?

I had the same issue, it leaves like a yellowing on the rubbers, and area's where the blade will stop, not sure why, and its hard as hell to wash off, if you can actually get it out, I use regular washer fluid now but I treat my windshield with Aquapel Glass Treatment & Rain Repellent

its clear and leaves no marks, also last for about 6 months depending how much you use your wipers and is like 8$ for it

I have never had that problem down here. I wonder if the colder temps you guys face causes that?

I've run rain-x washer fluid for years in my old dakota and never had an issue. Strange! I don't run it in the Ram as I have moved to the actual Rain-x treatment instead.

HEMI- Sorry, should have been more clear. I meant from on the paint that it ran down onto. (Rear portion of the front fenders, back of the hood, etc.) Like I said, though, the Jeep was an old beater and never really washed her much. Maybe that's why, but still scared about not being able to get it off the paint at ALL.

I've ran into that on my Ram. Sliver, mind you. I used the Rain-X washer fluid with bug remover (or whatever kind the Rain-X was that was orange). and I noticed after a few days of seeing orange/red splotches on my hood, roof and on my cabin light bar. I had no clue what it was until it dawned on me that it was the fluid. Ive been using the cheaper kind of fluid and havent had any issues since.

i have never used the Rain-x washer fluid
i have used the wipe on product, because i didn't have windshield wipers that worked

I do know that you don't want to use Rain-X on plastic
Rain-x will destroy things like the plexiglas motorcycle windshields
