I thought the error cancelers were the relay harness, I really didnt think there was a difference. But now I know

Error cancelers are a capacitor that goes inline with the ballasts/bulb and creates more load in the system tricking the truck into thinking they are standard bulbs

relay harnesses use a relay(s) to use the stock wiring harness to trigger a relay that draws and directs power from the battery to the ballast giving you a most constant/direct flow of power to help reduce the chances of flickering

If I'd known that when I did mine, I damn sure wouldn't have used the harness. What a headache that was lol

No problem. Ya harnesses are a nightmare and a lot of people hae been told things by shops that arent true and thinkg thats how it HAS to be. The only time I start with a harness is when its a bi-xenon and thats simply because usually you have to have a harness with those because of the extra power drawn by a single bulb dual light combo
