Here ya go Hovenator, dropped my headliner a bit so I could get to the backside of my maplights. I changed them to LED but the LED's wouldn't function unless the key was on, added the resistors and they work like a charm.

From the back of the overhead console:

Here you can see how I wrapped the resistor around the leads to the light. I did it from the backside cause the bulbs wouldn't fit if I soldered them to the bulb.

Could these resistors be used for my cargo/3rd brake/reverse lights? For some reason I'm getting an error that my license plate lights and rear tail light is out after I installed LED's for my two cargo lights, 3rd brake and license plates. Also, how easy is it to solder? I have the soldering gun, but have never used it. Where exactly do I solder it?

Yes. You will need a prewired LED from any supplier. You pull the roof assembly apart, and cut the boat/light socket/lightbulb off of the existing harness and wire the new LED in. I had to widen the stock opening to hold the new LED. The thing is that stock bulb is very dull. MY first led i put in was too bright and annoying so i took it out and sprayed it with a layer of VHT to dull it up a little and now its better
