Default So I'm curious

Since there was never a factory install of a 6.4/392 in a 3rd gen, is this section for swaps and strokers? This like having another 3rd gen 318 section...

Don't know exactly what you meant, but a lot of 392's have been built on the 5.7 block. I think Sharadon has one on their web site. If you go to Youtube and search 10.58 sec Dodge Magnum you can see a video of a 4350 lb Street driven Magnum with a forged 392 hemi. Not fast enough for him, he's building a 6.1 based 426 this winter. BTW the Magnum was spraying a 150 shot only.

I'm QUITE familiar with the various builds. I'm in the process of gathering parts for one. What I mean is why have a 392 section for a generation that didn't have one oem. So it's like the 318 section.
