According to my dealer I am at D1. Anyone know what exactly that means? I emailed CS on tuesday and they sent me a VIN. My order was placed 7/5 for a CC sport 2wd, no air ride.
Ram Customer Service gave me an estimated delivery date of March 31st! Of course it comes in while on vacation. At least I have something to look forward to when I return!
I haven't ordered yet, but my wife and I are about to pull the trigger on ordering the following: Limited Crew 4x4 6'4" box 3.0L diesel, trailer brake control, anti spin
Is that order configuration open yet and would it potentially be built in the next 5/1/14 build?
It should be. Regular Cab, Quad Cab and Outdoorsman are the ones most heavily restricted or not available. If you order in April, it should be part of the may schedule (that's how it usually works).
ETA is always E. First one (164, JS status) is due 4/3. Second one (263, KZ status) is due 4/4. Third one (811, KZ status) is due 4/7. My guess is #2 will arrive first.
Sorry I think its the first one. ES303164 Where I work we ordered 5 of these and you are tracking them all! I have just noticed some others in the same status that have been there awhile and I don't think they can make the est. Delivery date if it sits long. Thanks!
It's here. (Yard is attached to Jefferson North Assembly, home of the Grand Cherokee and Durango). It should be shuttle to Toledo within a week and then trucked to your dealer.
So, I just got the message from my dealer that the truck was damaged in transit. Don't know how bad at this point, but we're trying to find out now. Feeling bummed...
Ugh. Not sure if I can get more info on that either. If was seriously damaged, it wouldn't be sold (seen that happen a few times, not on this list though). If it was a scratch or dented fender, typically it is repaired to new.
Thanks for looking after this SPP. Couple of questions for you. 1) When would you estimate updates on this should appear? It is a Laramie CC 4x4 6'4 box full load (no RAM box) + Air Suspension.
I know the AS was delaying truck builds - but not sure if that is the case anymore or not.
2) If it was purchased end of March - does that mean a May build? I am not sure how the scheduling works.
Feel free to PM me or post on the thread. I will monitor, etc. Just wondering how often I should check.
My gut is miscalibrated due to the large glut of orders that came through last month. Typically it is 2 weeks or so to D, 2 more to D1, then 2 more to production. However, things have been scattershot lately.
Ok. I ordered and received my VON same day - 3/24/14. They were actually in a hurry to enter it - did the night I left even though they were closed (think the dealer wants his numbers up)
I will be talking with them on Saturday, and will ask the allotment question. I know they have 1 EcoDiesel coming in - not sure on any others.
Depends on how many trucks are coming to your area. If there are a 100 or so in route they won't ship 100 trucks via truck they would throw them on a train.

You can look at my signature to give you a guess. Someone who ordered their truck two weeks after mine is getting their truck built today just like mine. Depends on your dealer if they have an allotment or not. My order sat at first because they were out of allotments.
Well, I think that date is more of a "ready to ship" rather then an estimated ship date....I wouldn't bet my house that your truck will actually ship on that date.
Thanks spp, I moved from D status (January 25/14) to C and now 2 months later back to D again, so D1 is within reach again - this might be encouraging news - WOW indeed!
Still curious what caused that earlier setback....
Sounds about right. If you got side steps or a spray in bed liner... it's done after the build. If you got both... it could take a few more days, depending on their load.
Any word on the availability of the 17" wheels on Outdoorsman Ecodiesels in this model year? Or lifting any other Outdoorsman restrictions for a CC 6'4, RamBox, possible air suspension, bucket seats?
