According to my dealer I am at D1. Anyone know what exactly that means? I emailed CS on tuesday and they sent me a VIN. My order was placed 7/5 for a CC sport 2wd, no air ride.
Top of the list - very exciting. I actually look forward to Monday's now so I can get the latest and greatest update. Once the truck gets delivered, it will be back to the "old" perspective on Monday's. Thanks again SPP for all you do.
Quick question... when they are at final rail destination are they sitting in containers or are they out in the open? My truck was surprisingly clean especially considering all the snow we got earlier last week!
SPP- Have any idea how long it takes to get from Belvidere to NE Indiana? Looks like a 2 hour straight shot drive, though I imagine they'll make more than one stop. Called dealer today, as the delivery date said 3-24. His system said the truck was still in Belvidere. He said it could come in today but it was not likely. Driving me insane. I've almost given up the fact I bought a new truck...
SPP, not sure why the PM has not come through. I tried to send you a PM but since I am new to the forum and not enough posts I cannot send it to you.
I will hang tight to see what happens tomorrow! Thanks!
You can take old Ordy off the list now. I picked up the Longhorn this afternoon. She's a beauty. Didn't notice any paint issues or loose items so far. The dealer put new LT275/65/R20 Toyo Open Country II's on her and it looks and drives great. I'll post pictures once daylight hits her again. I felt so damn nervous driving home in it. It's HUGE compared to the Acura I was used to. I am gonna have a hard time sleeping tonight. It feels like Christmas when you get an awesome new toy to play with. Thank you VERY much for your help during the order lifespan. You really are a great help to a ton of folks here. :smiley_thumbs_up:

Ordy was there a reason your dealer installed the Toyo's?
So update on my truck, talked to my sales manager today after I got off of work. Delivery date in the computer shows tomorrow still. He was hoping it was going to show today because he is waiting for mine and one other. They only received one semi today and I checked it when I saw it.
So hopefully I see my truck tomorrow and will be able to take delivery Wednesday. He did tell me it was on a rush order though.
Ok so here's my new dilemma. Remember, I ordered two trucks.
The 1st one was ordered:
No pushbutton start (wanted)
No engine block heater (wanted)
No rubber floor mats (wanted)
Does have anti spin diff. (didn't want)
The second truck:
The opposite of above options.
Everything else is identical. ecodiesel, NAV, tow pkg, bucket seats, ect....
First truck: 9,000 below MSRP to me for $43,000 plus .084% tax, so about $46,600
Second truck: Not sure what the MSRP was but if I calculated the rebates and taxes right...$46,889.
First truck: scheduled to be delivered on 2 Apr.
Second truck: currently in paint....and I put $500 down already.

if it were me i would go with truck #1. you will notice the push button start everytime you get in. you will not notice the lack of anti spin everytime you drive. my $.02 and its only worth $.01
Just talked to dealer #1...$42,987 is before my USAA $1000 rebate. Now 41,987 plus tax.
That's freaking $10,000 below MSRP...really what it comes down to is what's more important. The convienence group w/push button start. Or anti slip diff. My Ford didn't have it and I lived in MT. Got around just fine.
SPP, Thank you very much for all of your assistance. Please take me off the list. My Big Horn was delivered to the dealership yesterday afternoon. I went to look at her and snapped a few pics, and will be taking delivery later today. The dealer called yesterday morning and said it would be delivered today, and then I got another call yesterday afternoon to tell me it had been delivered. It's not a perfect system, predicting when the trucks will actually show up. Your info did make it easier waiting 7 weeks for it to show up. Thanks again! The obligatory photos will follow shortly.
Thank you for providing these updates. I have a question, my order 1500 SLT ED Crew cab , short bed, air suspension is in Inspection QA check for the past 11 days or so, do you have an insight as to what the hold up is ?
