According to my dealer I am at D1. Anyone know what exactly that means? I emailed CS on tuesday and they sent me a VIN. My order was placed 7/5 for a CC sport 2wd, no air ride.
So here's a question... a few people have told me that once a truck has arrived at the rail yard the dealership has 48 hours to pick it up. Not sure if that's just a rule here in Calgary but curious if there's any truth to that?
We are going to get 5cm of snow today and the weekend looks crappy too. Might be a good thing that I won't be picking her up yet.

I'm not sure if that is a local Calgary rule BUT in December my wife's '14 Durango sat at the final rail destination for 10 days. I'm in NJ, the final rail destination was Twin Oaks, Pa, about 2 hours away. Apparently my experience was not unusual.
The truck that I have on order has been sitting in a Maryland yard for over 2 weeks now. That is about 3-4 hours away.
SPP;
I called CS yesterday, after some checking the woman told me that my truck should be shipped out on the 22nd, and also said my vehicle should arrive at the dealer approximately on March 30. I have my doubts can you confirm?

At least your vehicle is in town. SPP has updated mine to show it is in BC. I'm hoping it gets off a train in Vancouver and gets over to the island early next week. No guarantee about that so I just need to be patient.
For all those complaining about 10-12 weeks... I ordered 7 Dec. :Wow1:
I looked at Google Maps for the Warren Michigan Assembly plant
I went to satellite images & i was able to see the several train tracks at the back of the buildings & the 4 train loading ramps on the side of the building, (look for the 5 big tanks), as well as the staging area
That's a couple of yards actually if I remember correctly. There are also more yards downtown near Jefferson Assembly that are larger. The trucks are all over the place right now from Sterling Heights assembly all the way down in New Boston, MI (next to the Detroit Airport, "metro" if you are from around here).
Whatever it takes to get them moving and in your hands.

1. A global QA check popped up and just about all the EcoDiesels went through or have gone through that check. This is extending out the inspection time (hence the long time in "I" status you are seeing). This is normal on a new product launch (ask the 6.4 folks...). All part of the process to ensure any issues are dealt with prior to the vehicle getting into your hands. With that said, some of you are now in the shipping system (KZ) as you have completed the check. Some of you that were staged are back in awaiting as they need to do the check on your vehicle. It's a quick check as it seems most get the hold released quickly.
2. Just about all of you now have a build date (yay!).
3. Those of you, well, one of you in D status should have a build date very soon.
4. For the 2.5 of you in C (Dr Honda, you still want that second truck tracked?), you are in C due to a materiel restriction. It's not the 17" wheels or the 3.92 axle believe it or not. It's one of the items that isn't in the code guide but it part of the recipe to build your specific truck so I am having to dig to find out what it is.
5. Over half of you are in the process of being built or have been built woot!
Thx for the update and thank you for all your great inside info you share with us. Contacting my dealer is a pain they have been fairly clueless. Hope those sitting in "Awaiting to be shipped" get their trucks moved soon. Mine is being built next Wednesday getting pretty excited.
My Ecodiesel is on 'truck to dealer'. Its been that way since yesterday. The dealership is a 2 hour drive from the plant so i'm not sure why it takes this long. Dealer is looking out for it but not there yet. I'm hoping to pick it up tonight if possible.
I'll certainly post pictures and give you first impressions asap.
Body vendor is after all plant work is done. I am not sure the timing. Once it actually moves, I can give a pretty good ETA. The hard part is the moving.
