According to my dealer I am at D1. Anyone know what exactly that means? I emailed CS on tuesday and they sent me a VIN. My order was placed 7/5 for a CC sport 2wd, no air ride.
Let me handle some general commentary first before I delve into the updates
1. Dates are part of that standard disclaimers thing. Estimated build means the day it will start to go down the line, usually +-48 hours. Estimated ship is the day it will hit the shipping system and be able to be shipped, usually +-48 hours. When it actually ships is up to the supply chain people, more specifically, the availability of something, be it train, truck, vessel, or a guy named Hans to carry your vehicle from the starting point to the end. Like I keep stating periodically, it's not like people want to hold on to your truck as it makes no money for the company sitting in storage (some of you will now picture Hans sitting in your truck relaxing in the heated/ventilated seats laughing maniacally...).
2. Air suspension is a supplier constrained item on the 2500/3500 right now. There were some general "check this new option out" holds previously but most have been released. It's now down to comment #1 above.
3. EcoDiesels are being shipped. Lots of them. Are they on the lots? YES. Van **** Dodge down in Warren, MI has one on the lot right now, if it hasn't been sold (ES272897).
4. There are currently no global issues for the EcoDiesel. It's all on a truck-by-truck basis right now (eg, this truck has a loose clip, this other truck has a urea line issue, etc). See #3.
Update: There is currently one issue that requires a recheck. Last time I make definitive statements before doing updates...
Lastly, ordering is now closed for the '14 Viper. You will now have to wait for 2015...

Does that no issues include trim level ordering? I trust your information much more than a dealer that doesn't even know if they are or are not getting one. I would love to be able to order an Outdoorsman, air suspension, RamBox and get the 17" wheels.
My gut tells me first week of April but it could be I need lunch. It will be hard pressed to hit that date unless it moves today. It is the same system I see but unless you use it like I have, you may not have the knowledge of some of its quirks.
It looks like I'm still staged for shipment sitting in Maryland.....or am I staged for shipment somewhere else and the destination is Maryland?:4-dontknow:
It is still in Maryland, with an intended destination of Twin Oaks, PA. That could change as that was the rail destination. It could go by truck now that it is "that close".

Thanks for the clarification spp. I would have to believe then that the truck gets to the dealer the first week of April. Which is fine, as it would be nice to see what the next round of incentives look like.
Olli-
I just noticed you have 2500 with the new 6.4L Hemi on the way. I'm envious, really wish Ram offered the 6.4 on the 1500. I know this isn't the place, but I'd love to hear more about that engine once you have a chance.
My vin# came today but I have no idea where that puts me. Could you post the link your tracking? I've tried but it says there's an error signing in.

So we can't get access from this side of the border. That's a bummer. I see how much work SPP has been doing already. I didn't want to add to his work load. It's very much appreciated for sure.
