a bit off topic, behind the scene, so to speak
Now that all of the US Highways are snow & mostly ice free, all of the vehicle haulers, ( we in the industry call them Parking Lots ) , will be on the road
10 days ago, there was only Florida that didn't have snow within the States borders
Several States restrict unnecessary trucking during extreme conditions
I saw someone's post that read, that the Truckers were all hauling grain etc.
A truck that hauls vehicles could not be hooked up to a grain trailer, it is configured in a completely different way.
Car haulers truck has 10 wheels with car rack & hydraulics of it own, this trailer has 8 wheels & racks & hydraulics of its own
The truck does not have a 5th wheel for connecting to any other type trailer
The whole backup with product delivery has been because of the weather & road conditions
I thought you might like to see how vehicles are loaded onto ships, it doesn't matter which brand
