According to my dealer I am at D1. Anyone know what exactly that means? I emailed CS on tuesday and they sent me a VIN. My order was placed 7/5 for a CC sport 2wd, no air ride.
If one takes the February truck sales into consideration, then there are a lot of empty rail cars at the GM plants that are available.:wavey:
But seriously, RAM sales are way up and now RAM has to move more units then ever and needs to find more rail cars and haulers then ever. There might just not be enough rail cars available.
Nothing that I can see right now but I haven't been looking too closely at that. Most of the D children flip in a 3-4 weeks to D1. Most of the 2/7 orders flipped this week.

I ordered mine a month ago now so perhaps I haven't paid sufficient penance yet. Thanks

in canada (ontario and quebec) the weather wasent this bad (we didnt get that much snow this winter, but we had alot of really cold weather), so here it's not the cause of the delay,.. the truck been sitting in a canadian yark since it was built,..
It's actually moved 3 times*
It's now in Brampton so hopefully a truck can take it the rest of the way home.
i hope your right but stilll it move 3 times but only about 180miles. From a yard to a other yard not that far from the first one.. still a other 300miles to go...to montreal
it just seems lots of logistic to load and deload my truck 3 times for that small movement lol
really hope they will move it soon... i need my vehicul
It's same with packages. You can't really do point to point unless you have a full load (or any profit you may have had evaporates and then some). That's why LTL (Less than Truck Load) carriers charge so much typically.
After having my order pulled on Feb. 14th (the day it was going to be assembled), I am worried about the word "Estimate" being beside my build date.:4-dontknow:
Did you order from the same dealer? My dealer can't order any more until tomorrow. Even though my truck is ordered the dealer has no allotment to fill my order. If he can't fill it by next week might cancel my order and go to another dealer that has an allotment that can fill my order not just take it.
Ordered my 2500 CC on Dec 28th. Was supposedly shipped from Mexico on Feb 20th. Been two weeks now and nothing yet, dealer just said Ram extended the travel time. I'm getting very impatient as they originally said I would have it Feb 22nd which was what RAM said in January. Anyone have an idea of what's going on? Maybe I should just be more patient? Thanks
Trucks are being shipped via railways and right now due to weather they are way behind on shipping. There is a shortage of rail cars. I haven't been able to find many good links other than there are delays due to weather but they do not specifically say auto shipments.
Another mass change day...including something I've been waiting for for a while now
Also, clarity has come to me for some of the trucks listed. I won't spoil the surprise yet. Let's just say Chrysler really wants to get you your trucks

OK when I read about mopar44o I also was happy for him. In fact, I figured I wouldn't even be too upset if mine didn't move. abone moved, so I thought OK maybe I would too, and I did. Oh happy day!
And here are the ordering changes that are open today:
-Rambox now available on EcoDiesel Longhorn Longbox
-20-inch semi-gloss wheels replace the 20-inch high gloss wheels on black express and outdoorsman
-EcoDiesel outdoorsman must have the 20-inch wheels (WHE/WHN codes)
-Quad cab air suspension with 4x4 is now available (Non-Eco)
-20-inch wheels (WRT) is now available for Longhorn/Limited
What can't be ordered right now?
-EcoDiesel Regular cab
-EcoDiesel 4x2 Crew LongBbox & 4x4 Quad Cab
-EcoDiesel 4x4 Quad with Air Suspension
EcoDiesel may now be available as a sold-only order. I'm not 100% sure on that
No my issue was there was a conflict with chrome body molding and spray in bed liner. As soon as they removed spray in bedliner (took 2 months to figure it out) it went to bx.
Thanks SPP.
How long till I can get a date now of when it will roll down the line?
