SPP, please take me off the list, I saw the beauty today, gor-geous!!!!! Thank you for all the updates and all the hard work, these updates are most welcome!
Unfortunately, the truck was not ready yet...I will pick it up tomorrow :|
Still all wrapped up in plastic and such. The bed almost perfectly aligned, it is probably a quarter of an inch to the right. Front bumper is probably 1/8" more outwards on the left than right, it is not visible unless you compare them carefully, I will tell them about it tomorrow. Could not see anything else, it was already dark and the truck was dirty. The 8.4 and everything else was offline, I could see "SHIP MODE" on the dashboard, I am assuming that's why.
Some salt on the inside, dirty, and the flasher button dirty as well, salt everywhere. Probably when they load them on the trucks, they do it with the gloves on and they mess everything around. Didn't see any scratches, but I am planning to go over it with a fine comb. All 3 rubber things in place on the edge of the bed.
I find it a step lower in quality compared to my '12 Sport, but there is no V6 option above SLT/Outdoorsman in Canada, so I had to go with this. The paint is not dirt "forgivable", it seems to be high maintenance to look good (like black). I tend to lean towards flame red now, but I gotta see in clean and in sunlight as well. a LOT of hard plastic on the inside.
The engine sounds great for a V6, I will love the quiet cabin, that's for sure. The diesel grey is nicer than '12 from what I can tell, I like it better. The wipers look cheap.
All in all, despite the fact we were both shy, we got acquainted very fast and we got comfortable with each other in a matter of minutes. We both already know this will be a very long term relationship. For some reason, I have a feeling this will be the best vehicle I ever owned.
