According to my dealer I am at D1. Anyone know what exactly that means? I emailed CS on tuesday and they sent me a VIN. My order was placed 7/5 for a CC sport 2wd, no air ride.
At JS, it's done with the factory. But it still is going through the QA process. Once released, it will head over to the body vendor for final things and then off to shipping.
Invoices show up at KZ+24-48 hours.
Yeah. Mine is in the holding tank between paint and trim. The longest part of the build...
FYI...I got on the dealers arse yesterday about what what taking so long. I was told 6 weeks max, and it will be 7 weeks today with no update from Dodge (SPP does a much better job than Dodge). Anyway, he contacted the Detroit plant (where my particular truck is supposedly being built) and ended up speaking with the head of procurement. This gentlemen said the current holdup is due to leather, and they are expecting a shipment soon. How soon is soon, I have no idea, nor can I say with any certainty this information is accurate, but it's something.
Just curious. How long does it take for Ram to take up the orders from the dealer. My order has been sitting in pending for over a week now. I see a few of you have ordered after me and the orders have been accepted into the system.
Hang in there Bud !!! I feel ya,mines at the dealer ready to go and I cant get there ! I know its not gonna make you feel any better, but once it actually moves it will be there in no time at all. I pullin for ya !!
Thank you spp. I just got off the phone with the dealer and he said it is still a pending order. It is still pending "restrictions" he claims that that is most likely due to the diesel engine. I am hoping that is all.
Just a heads up on Longhorn orders. I have a small advantage in that I still have the VON for the first truck that I ordered. The order was confirmed in VOTS on January 14th. I received another VOTS email today that the vehicle was shipped. That vehicle is being sent to the dealership for them to sell. The second truck I ordered with the added features was confirmed in VOTS on Jan 22nd. So I have a heads up on where my actual truck is in the process. At least that's what I hope is the deal. It's the same truck just with Air Suspension, 6'4 box and 3.92 gears. Here's the details on the truck that's is showing shipped:
Vehicle Details: · Powertrain o 5.7L V8 HEMI MDS VVT Engine o 8-Spd Auto 8HP70 Trans (Buy) · Other(s) o Customer Preferred Package 26K o 50 State Emissions · Color/Trim/Seating o Premium Filigree Leather Seats o Black Gold Pearl Coat o Canyon Brown/Lt. Frost Beige · Comfort, Convenience o Convenience Group · Additional Features/Packages o Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle o Wheel to Wheel Side Steps o Protection Group o Manuf Statement of Origin o RamBox Cargo Management System
:4-angermax:Thursday Customer service said ETA 3/3/14 Friday customer service said ETA 3/4/14... Monday customer service said ETA 3/5/14... TODAY customer service said ETA 3/6/14. Since the current incentives expire on 3/3/14 I spoke with my dealership with the concern that I will lose the $4000 incentive if this goes past 3/3/14. The owner said he would check into it and if the incentives are to be lower for the next month he would have me come in early. I have been advised the indications are the incentives for my area will be lower so I went in and did all my paperwork (if it turns out the info they had was incorrect and the incentives are higher they will pay me the difference in cash.) Thing is a truck I completely own is on a damn train and being delayed day after day AND as I OWN it had to put full coverage insurance on it in case something happens to the damn thing. Frustrated... ya think?? :Wow1:

How can you own a truck that the dealer hasn't even invoiced yet? Further, how can YOU have insurance on a truck you don't technically own since you haven't taken delivery? The dealer/Chrysler has to have insurance on the trucks as they move through the delivery process. That doesn't make sense to me nor does the dealer saying they feel the incentives will be lower (they NEVER know ahead of time). What do the rest of you think? Just sounds fishy to me.
Man, some of the members on here are really kind of becoming pretty high maintenance for SPP! Guys (and gals) chill a little bit! It takes a little while for these things to get built. Chrysler has had a huge increase in Ram sales this year. Cut them a little slack. Just my opinion....
The list is 70!!! And growing....wow! Thanks again SPP! As cool as the past two days of twice daily updates has been, I COMPLETELY understand you going back to once a day!
May the gods of beer and boobies smile upon you !
Thank you thank you thank you
It snowed a bit last night, but only an inch or so, this shouldn't be a problem.
It's like 1 hour to the border, one day in the customs and then another day max (~200 miles) to the dealership.
I might bring her home by Saturday. Ha ha ha! MOOOOO!!!!!!
When we ordered on 19 Feb (Laramie Limited, EcoDiesel, Crew Cab 4x4), there was a $3000 Crew Cab incentive listed on the website. Our dealer rep couldn't pull that up in the system and said that the incentive must not apply to the Ecodiesel. Has anyone else run into this? I didn't see any fine print in the incentive that would exclude it.

I'm in the same position waiting for fleet manager to get back and I'm going to ask them why they said there was no incentives on line For a longhorn eco d.when I called the incentive line they specifically said I could get 2500 for crew cab and a five hundred Chrysler finance rebate.i hope they don't try and swoop this one from me I'll be pissed.
The other thing that we could not order on the Laramie Limited (EcoDiesel, Crew, 4x4) was the tow hooks. We added the Limited Appearance (which gives us the Chrome bumper back) and we hoped then to be able to add in the factory tow hooks option, but it still wasn't available. Seems like we will be able to order from MOPAR separately (but it's much more expensive) and then pop/cut out the indents on the bumper. Has anyone else done this? We would not have been able to do this at all with the body moulding style bumper, since there are no indents to cleanly cut out for them.

My dealer just called me (sales manager). He told me that my truck is on a train. Eagle Pass (Texas?) on its' way to St Louis then eventually to the Twin Oaks, Pa distribution yard. He said that it should get there by 3/7. So I should see my truck either the week of 3/10 or 3/17.
VOTS changed from "Confirmation" to "Production Scheduled"! I was beginning to lose faith and even considered heading for the GMC dealer. It could be scheduled for next month, but at least I know they're actually working and haven't closed the doors.
