According to my dealer I am at D1. Anyone know what exactly that means? I emailed CS on tuesday and they sent me a VIN. My order was placed 7/5 for a CC sport 2wd, no air ride.
Ahhh... Day 4 and my truck is reluctant to leave the country of it's birth...
And this just has to be Presidents Day... Federal Holiday... doubt if the folks are working at the border today... so probably no movement
Only problem is that for most of the people on here from Canada it is a holiday, hence the waiting for an update can be nail-biting. I can just imagine all of them sitting in front of their P.C.s waiting for SPP like vultures waiting for a meal.
thanks for all the updates and answering all my questions ! Wish I could drop off a case off beer ! Maybe I can take a case of canadian beer over the border and ship it to you !
Appreciate all the hard work ! If you give me your bosses email I will let him know how hard you work to make Ram customers happy !
SPP: Is there any way to find out what parts they are short of on the Longhorn & Limited that caused them to be pulled? The only parts I see that are exclusive to the two are the grill inserts.
Family Day holiday in Alberta today, the dealer is closed and my truck that took 4 months to get here is sitting there wasting more time. I'd like to see how many days since the truck was built that it just sat there without anything being done or not moving. I bet the truck has been idle for about 2 months or more in all. So sad. We live in such a fast paced, get it now society and stuff like this is still acceptable for auto dealers. Banks are even open on Sundays and holidays now, but not car dealers. I don't get it. Seems to me Sundays and holidays would be a pretty important time for a family to go car shopping.
Well my truck has arrived. A special thanks to rcmpvet who went by the dealer today and took some pics for me so I could see my new baby for the first time.:smileup: Your are awesome !
Another special thank you to spp for all your help throughout the past 8 weeks and 4 days (60 days) of waiting and wondering !!:smileup:
To all the rest of the forum members here for answering and helping out with all the questions we have had !
Its going to be tough over the next 11 days waiting to come home !!
Well here she is, a little dirt and snow covered and yet to be prepped !!!

I'm jealous! I fly out of Colorado on Thursday so I know I will be home in time for mine to arrive. Patience, your new office is almost home.
I suspect they forgot to order them. One more thing to deal with whenever the truck arrives. Not the end of the world though. Plenty of aftermarket options out there as well. I am kinda short and they help with accessing the front of the box. (and entry/exit)
Ecodiesel production started Jan. 21st, so it's been longer than a week. All of the ecodiesels produced are still in QA. At least yours got built. Mine was slated to be built on Feb. 14th but got pulled that day and I was sent back to "C" status.:4-dontknow:
