Default Backup Camera to Aftermarket Nav Receiver

Hi,
I have purchased a Mopar Backup Camera Kit (Tailgate Camara and wiring harness) and a JVC Navigation Receiver and am trying to figure out how to hook the camara up. The instructions included with the camera kit are for installation to a stock Mopar head unit so I need to figure out how to install to an aftermarket unit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

you didn't mention the model#
so i could not do an Image search on Google or an installation video on Youtube

but i read on the Crutchfield website that some JVC units similar to yours reads
To use a rear view camera, the reverse gear signal lead connection is required. For connecting a rear view camera
page 110

at the end of that manual, there is a illustration of where connectors go

Thanks for the reply. What I was asking about is where the 5 wires from the factory camera connect to on the aftermarket setup (the factory backup camera kit has wiring and instructions for wiring to a stock head unit).

I think I have figured out how to make it work and will post if anyone is interested. I can't imagine I am the only one who has ever installed the factory backup camera (tailgate handle) and an aftermarket nav receiver at the same time.

Thanks again for the help!
