If you had to trade in you beloved ram for something a bit smaller.. What would it be?...
The more and more time that goes by, the harder im finding it to hold onto this truck... Ive found tons of beautiful places to buy, but they all have one major issue in common. They dont have parking for a truck...
Just don't have the money to buy a house, so it had to be a condo or townhome.
So...if it does come down to it, what would you buy to replace it?
I would switch to either a 300 or a jeep GC, both SRT8 models then i would call whoever makes the biggest turbo kit for them and say hello to the wonderful wide world of booooooooost
I also own a 2010 Challenger RT and I really like it. If you need the 4 door, a used 300C or Charger RT can be picked up used for a resonable buck. The SRT's will usually command a little more money. A couple of years ago we drove a 2006 300C SRT8 and I really liked it. It was very low miles, something like 10,000 miles or less on it. The SRT's are pretty serious cars though, they will ride a little rougher and get no so great gas mileage, but are wicked quick.
A used srt8? of course i can. an 06-08 srt8 in the charger or 300 are mid to low 20's used. A jeep srt8 is high 20's to low 30's, my slt is loaded up with almost every option you can get in an slt, i see used ones with less options and higher mileage then mine go for low 30's. Keep in mind i live in BC canada, car and truck prices are higher here
I already know getting into an srt8 for cheaper is completely possible, especially if i look at the 06 models.
Just wanted to update, i still have my ram. To be honest, i really havent looked that hard... Each time i get behind the wheel i'm reminded of why i bought it and how much i love this truck. And anytime we go for a day trip, everyone piles into my truck because of the huge amount of room and feeling safer...
Still not sure what to do... but i really am having a hard time parting ways with it
Tormentor, this is the same problem I have. A few times I have gone to dealerships and looked at SUV's, but each time I go back to the house in the Ram. Nothing does it for me but Ram.
I'd go and find my 2005 GTO that I had the pleasure of owning for a little over a year or so.
This is the best truck I've ever owned [period] but my Goat was the best car I've ever owned, all things considered. It was a weekender at best and I drove it like I stole it pretty much every time I hoped into the driver's seat. As much as I "abused" that vehicle, it never missed a beat!

I've been considering a 300 srt8 as well because my truck is loaded up with all the goodies in it and the 300's do have some nice luxury features and seem to be MUCH easier to find then a Cherokee srt8
That's the one issue I'm having is first off, the Cherokees are very expensive so I can only find an older higher mileage one to get into for a trade.
For a 300 I could get into an 08-09 model with low miles for around the same price... Just liked the idea of an suv and AWD better in a province where it rains most of the year
