Default Vibration

Good evening. I have a 2008 Ram 5.7 that has recently started having a slight vibration in the steering wheel and gas pedal at all speeds but more noticable at lower speeds. My wheels are always balanced and rotated. Looked under it and couldn't see anything obviously out of place. You can also hear a rubbing sound at slower speeds. Please help if you can.

have you had the front end looked at for worn bearings or if it is a 4x4 the universal joints?

When is the last time you had an alignment? If it's a 4X4, 1984D250 posted some good ideas to look at. To add to that, look at your front drive shaft and the U-joint going in to the front diff. Speaking of the front diff, have you had it serviced in a while? Then check your output or CV (constant velocity) shafts to your wheels. If it's a 2WD, then bearings, hubs, break rotors or calipers could be the culprit. Look and tweak one thing at a time, and start with the easiest, least expensive items first and then move on to the more complicated and costly things. Keep us posted on any progress and don't be afraid to ask for some more help/advice.

My truck is a 4X2. I got the wheels balanced and rotated and I still have the same issue. I'm going to check my drive shaft for extra play tomorrow. Brake components look fine. Not sure about the hubs. That'll be the next step if the drive shaft is okay.

I've checked my drive shaft and it has normal play in it. Not sure what to do next. I've noticed my pinion seal is leaking but I have plenty of fluid.
