Been really slacking on making this.. But figured it was time to jump on board. So here we go.. pic heavy from stock to now, as best as I can. Somewhere along I switched the soft cover that came with the truck from a F250 ext cab to a proper sized cab and a Audivox code alarm 2 way alarm system with auto start, and a hood bug guard.
First day bone stock- October 2012
First mod was HID's, but will include in with another pic.. So first real mod was S&B CAI.. Thanks To Grub's great review.
Next Was Grill LED's to go with my HID's
Pic after cleaning it all up in the winter
Plasti-dipp black grill.
Just playing around in a field.
Black Headlight covers.. Sadly didn't last
Black plasti-dipp Bumpers
Also forgot, but my bud who works at a part store was having a weekend old inventory clearance sale and they found a sheet a grill mesh laying around hidden for a year or 2. Well I went right away and picked it up and hung it up in the garage and plasti dipped it black. Should look a bit better then the current mesh, just haven't had time to install it yet. Been hauling trailers with the work cummins every moment outside of school. Hauled trailers for 3000KM (1864 miles) in the last 7 days.
Well my old HIDs crapped out on me, so replaced them last week with Lumens 8k hids. Really like them, but really have to adjust them.
Also here is a drive by video I took tonight. http://youtu.be/2buY3Y6lNJg
They are man. Whenever I drive the work trucks at night, the halogen bulbs just throw me off lol. Got high beams and fog lights always on to try and make them as good as hids.
So I got bored the other night, and have been contemplating a 12" led lightbar for inbetween my tow hooks for weeks.. So I went ahead and ordered one off Ebay. Came in yesterday and got to installing it. My HID fog lights were both toast because I get they don't like being submerged in mud/ water (who would have thought ). So I cut the electrical wiring off for them and will eventually do a factory hard wire for halogen fogs down the road. All the electrical was set up so just had to install the lightbar. Was a tight fit for the width between the plastic and metal bumper but I managed to shove it in there and then tightened it down to the bumper. May weld up some nice brackets to secure to the tow hook bar in the future. Couldn't pull it out for the life of me though. I mainly got this incase my hids ever do crap out on me in the middle of nowhere, I will have a backup light to use.
Well enough talking, here are some pictures.
Lightbar only (camera doesn't pic it all up, actually brightens the sides quite a bit.
Both hid headlights low beams and lightbar.. What is darkness?
Lmao, my friends already hate driving infront of me because of my hids, now I can really annoy them when messing around. I drove my newest work truck home at night today, 06 3500 Cummins with stock halogens. Wow they are junk lol, felt like I had no lights on.
If people get upset with my current set up-- driving lights and head lights, stock halogen-- I can't imagine what they'd do if I manage to get my paws on some real lights. (If I can get the d@mn truck running)

Quick question, did you install the Bilstein's yourself or have a shop do it? I have a set coming from Bully's but am trying to find a shop that is familiar with Bilsteins to get them installed. I'm just up the highway in Guelph right now.
Hey sorry for the delayed response, been busy lately. Unfortunately I didn't install mine, didn't have time in the summer. My uncles beverly tire did them when I was getting work done on my truck and my dad had our work trucks in getting work done on. I forget the price that I paid for them. I don't know if they have ever done a set before mine, but they followed the instructions and everything went smooth.
Installing the 5100s aren't too bad. There is a pretty good video of a guy going step by step on youtube but it is on a 2014. But I can't imagine it being that much different.
When I did mine, I didn't even mess with trying to remove the spring assembly. (well my over eager dad actually broke off the bolt on top of the shock holding the whole strut assembly together.) So I took them off ran up to Car X and they removed the springs and installed them on the 5100s for 10 bucks each.
So I ended up going a different direction with my fog lights then originally planned.
I picked up some led flushmount pods and wiring harness. Ripped out my old fogs, and took a dremel to the plastic mount that bolts to the frame for the fogs to do some modifications and wala They fit up good. They need some minor adjustments, but that can wait until the weather is warm.
Well everyone, here are the finished update.. Still have to throw my mesh grill back on, but all the hard stuff is done. Pics before the headlights and then with the headlights finished. I colour matched them myself and installed Diode Dynamics angel eyes with a wifi remote.
I loved the black/silver look, but I had been getting bored of it over the last few months. I also needed a new front bumper, so took this as an opportunity to change it up.
Wow! Only took a day. Let me ask you this. Why would you want to trade for a 10 year older truck? That would have to be one super duper bad azz truck, beinst that yours is a super bad azz truck.
lol older then 10 years, but it is a 12V Cummins. Such a nice simple engine that makes solid power and manual tranny. Had a ton done to it, and been beefed up and such. Also a clean second gen up here is like a needle in a haystack.
Well since I last posted. I picked up a RCX 6" lift. Still haven't installed it, will be doing near the end of winter where I will getting most likely 20x12 rims and another set of 35's. Just been fixing the truck more so lately lol.
Well, I finally retired the tow mirrors and flipped them down .. That is pretty much all that changed other then I relocated my plate to the bumper. Here are some pics from recently.
