Default sudden bag noise mainly turning left

Hi guys and Gals
I have a 2011 2500 Power wagon with 74,000 klms Hemi 5.7

I had it serviced at a Dodge dealer where they replaced on warranty the 2 front
drive axles ,seals bearings u-joints Also was a recent factory re-call was left and right tie rods with complete bar attached to them.

When I picked up the truck all was fine but with-in 2 hrs the sudden 1 bang per turn came back? [thud sound coming from front left area]
I was able to see the tech the next day and we went for a test drive and he thought stop the noise as he did solve on another 2500 series was the ujoint and shaft assembly to the steering box as hed did on another Ram I do not have warranty coverage for this .He also mentioned that very little wear was detected when he changed this unit be it did solve the problem?
Any one have any thoughts Thanks Pete

Can you put it on a lift and recreate it? Perhaps remove wheels and run in 4wd while turning the steering while a mechanic searches for the popping. It could be a suspension bushing moving in and out. They are pressed in can come loose and make a hell of a pop/bang. Could happen on any front end, not just a Ram.

Hello Hydrex
I like your thought process ,this way all driveline parts will be activated ,you might be on to something as I feel no movement or shake in the steering linkage which the tech was reference too[ but was'nt too sure] The popping noise has increased with sound and frequency Thanks so much as this gives me an area for proper inspection ! Just came back from the Toronto Auto Show ,Dodge had a great display Thanks Pete
