I consistently see almost everyday a new thread of people asking for pictures of Rough Country Lifts on the 2009-2012 Rams with tire size, wheels, bilsteins etc. I know there are a lot of lift threads out there but it can be annoying having to search multiple threads to find a RCX lift on bilsteins. I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread with Rough Country Lifts. Hopefully this will help others wondering what size tires, bilsteins, etc to go with.

4" RCX and Bilsteins at 1.4 will allow you to fit.
I have a 6" and 1.4 Bilsteins on 35" winters and I have 1/2" till I hit my 73" garage opening
So technically you can do a 6", it just depends on your height clearance.
thanks FNU I will give it a measure when I get home this afternoon ...but 73" ? that seams pretty low thought I am over 6'...72" with just level and 34s....just say'in
Ok you guys with lifts. Whats the ride quality of your truck like compared to pre-lift? I just bought the 2013 Longhorn and my wife says I can lift it but we're concerned about vibration especially in 4X4. Be honest as we want to make an informed decision.
I mean mine still rides great on 37" Toyos. Yes on the highway there is less power and it can be frustrating, but overall the ride is still amazing and smooth. My only complaint is I have a squeak coming out of the front left but I think it is a strut and will get it fixed when I get the chance. I say go for it
Hi Fast, my current truck is a 2010 with the 2.5" readylift SST so both rear and front have been lifted. I have just purchased a 2013 CC Longhorn and I'm not really interested in leveling the truck I want clearance. I live 8hrs from TO but travel there regularly. From what I have seen you guys have reasonable prices but I'm trying to decide between the RCX 4" and the Zone 4". As I understand it the RCX uses blocks on the rear and Zone uses a taller spring.
Thats the problem
Many rams will have the shudder in 4wd and many dont notice it or care to notice it. So its dependent on the driver as well with respect to their tolerance level.
Do you see yourself ever wanting to go 6"
To be quite honest, there are only a handful that truly love their 4" lift, then there are those that did the 4" and wish they went 6"
The 6" lift is only 1.5" of height difference.
This is going based off of RCX.
