So spring is here and I want to make my sport look more sporty. I'm getting married in a couple months and the wedding is taking up all the extra funds. I had to come up with a way to mod my truck on the cheap, but not look cheap.
Process:
Sport wheels: black/copper
Front emblem: black/copper
Front grille slats: copper
Tow mirror arms: black
Tow mirror caps: copper
Hood vents: copper
Rear emblem: copper
Rear plate frame: copper
Exhaust tips: anthracite
MOPAR decals on bed
Blackout tape removed
It rained all weekend, so the pics are either indoors or overcast. The copper really pops in the sun. I'll try and get some better pics when it's actually sunny out.
Question.. I've seen many guys have the two tone ram head on the front, and maybe I'm overthinking the process, but how exactly is this done...easy? lol
Take the front emblem off the grille. It is held in by 4 plastic tabs and some double sided tape. I had my grille off and the tape was the hardest part to make let go.
The front and back of the emblem are held together by a bunch of little plastic rivets. Cut the heads off the rivets and it separates into two pieces.
Paint/dip each piece a different color and put back together.
Put glue or silicone over the rivets and snap back into grille.
