According to my dealer I am at D1. Anyone know what exactly that means? I emailed CS on tuesday and they sent me a VIN. My order was placed 7/5 for a CC sport 2wd, no air ride.
SPP - CS said my truck arrived in Memphis Friday night the 6th for delivery the 10th. I called Monday evening and they said it arrived Sunday night about 9pm for delivery the 16th. I called the dealer and just got its on the way - but it doesn't matter because we're waiting on ISG. It sure didn't get delivered today the 10th! Would you please check when it arrived at the Memphis rail yard and it's estimated delivery date. EG136994 - yep, me again .
Aawtry, I see a ship hold code that I think is related to the dealer. Sometimes theres a science behind the codes and sometimes it is an art. I am not fully versed in all the ins and outs of the system, just my particular view of it. Your dealer would probably be the best place to start on resolving that.
Thanks again SPP.
You didn't forget me as you updated me on ES209770.
You did mention that shipment to Maritimes could be long.
Since it is in KZ status awaiting shipment
Is there an update that tells when it is scheduled date for rail delivery?
Hope for a pre Xmas delivery. I know the dealer was emailing the regional rep asking for a status update as it showed last Friday that it was still in trim. It would be nice if they had some pull with the Head Office...
SPP, you've been so generous with your time that I've been hesitant to add my truck to the list. I've been waiting over eight weeks now and I've finally given in. It would be much appreciated if you could find the time to check my truck's status. ES226806.
Fantastic! Thanks so much. Chrysler should be very appreciative for all the good will you have created. This will be a great Christmas for us. Merry Christmas to you and all the best for the New Year.
Thanks, SPP. Greatly appreciate all of your time to keep track of all these orders. Many people on this forum would be lost on their orders if it wasn't for your detailed status updates.

I actually have a schedule for all vehicles once they hit KZ until it is supposed to be delivered; however, knowing how the system works and based on past history, I usually don't even look at it until I see it's on the rail car. Otherwise hopes get raised and dashed as dates come and go.
For your truck, the next stop for it is Windsor and after that a long ride east. If all goes well, it will start the journey this week.
Thanks again SPP. My dealer emailed this morning that it was on a truck on route to rail yard. Since you know the schedule and know how the system works, perhaps my dealer is getting the standard communication from Dodge when it probably will be longer??? The dealer did say that they can track it through VINVision since it has reached KZ status as Canadian dealers don't follow the VOTS program.
That's the same system I am looking at. Only difference is I've probably seen how they move through the system to numerous dealers in all regions and know some (not all) of the weirdness that goes on depending on the destination. A smart dealer knows how vehicles flow to them by watching that system and learns about them.
I know from past experience that when I see Saint John, NB in the route listing, things take time.
2014 Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi
I Just took Delivery of my 2014 Ram 2400 with the new 6.4 hemi. I Had a 2012 2500 with the 5.7 which Chrysler tool back on the lemon law.
I went with the 6.4 Hemi because all the on line info and Rams on line information stated the 6.4 will see better gas mileage then the 5.7
So I order it with the 6.4 at $ 1,500.00 upcharge.
Good points so far, truck rides allot smoother with the new coil spring rear, and seams to handle better also.
Gas mileage after 1,100.00 miles is disappointing, with the old 5.7 I was averaging 13 combined, the new 6.4 getting 11, power also seems to be less. The 5.7 when I step down on the gas took off, the 6.4 not as quick maybe its the more for torque.
The best highway mileage I could muster up was 13.5 and that was barely touching the gas peddle.
The truck also seams to grunt and vibrate a little like a diesel especially in 6 gear.
Trim and fit is nicer then the 2012.
So I will keep posting to see if the mileage gets any better
Mine came in last night and will be picking it up today!!! Only took one week from Michigan to the dealer! I'll try and post some pics today or tomorrow! Took 7 1/2 weeks from date of order.
Seniorjumper82 - in Dothan! 7.5 weeks is too good. Mine is 4 months and at the rail yard for 5 days. I was at Rucker 69-71, been a long time since seeing Dothan. Enjoy your new truck. Mine is a buy back and even if it does get to the dealer I have to still wait on ISG.
I just checked VOTS and see that my vehicle is in final inspection...not a word from my dealer yet. SPP (aka Santa) could you please put my RAM under my tree? If you wouldn't mind sir, I'd be interested in a shipping date if there is one. Last8=ES225036
Congrats! Yep, I'm currently at Rucker too. Dothan has grown a lot, you probably wouldn't recognize it. I also took delivery yesterday and it's by far the nicest truck I've ever owned. I loved my F150's, but they are sitting in the back seat compared to my new Ram.
