New baby we are adopting soon so the 06 will be with me for a while. Looking at doing some leather for the seats. I have done a lot of research and have come to some conclusions. Anyone have any suggestions?

Katzkins are the way to go, if you want leather, looks like $789 is the going rate

If you have bucket seats, watch Stacey David /Drag'n'Wagon/ Interior/ S5 Episode 13-1

about 2 minutes into the video
then click on the following episode to continue watching

I have seen some posts about Rams trucks that have come with leather & the leather was not properly cured, the leather still had some fat attached to it & caused a milky spew to come to the surface of the leather.

Just ran my 07 Quad Cab through the Katzkins page with just adding a Dodge emblem to the front seats and no other options .....almost $1100. I've been thinking about swapping over to leather too. I've been trying to find a salvage yard that has good leather out of a newer truck that's totaled out. I haven't found what I'm looking for yet, but I've gotten some "should be" quotes around $5-600. Just an idea.

You asked about Hog Rings
If you look at a chain link fence, there will be a top & bottom wire that runs between the posts. The actual chain link fence is attached to those 2 wires using Hog Rings. At the post they use a smaller wire clip.
The Hog Rings on the fence is not the smooth type that is used in upholstery work, but it is the same thing
