Hey y'all. I just replaced a front caliper on my 98 1500. Put new copper washers on it, bolted everything down, and it leaks brake fluid when you push the pedal. Took it off, made sure everything was good, put it on again. Still leaks fluid. Tried new washers multiple times, the thing won't stop leakin. I'm getting real frustrated... any ideas?
Real embarrassed to say this but I owe y'all the solution... it turns out that with the dinky little wrench I was using I simply couldn't tighten the bolt enough... I grabbed a ratchet and jammed it on there until I thought it would break the bolt... no more leak.
