I'm not sure what happened to it. The fuel gauge started acting funny like saying full then 10 min later saying empty then when the dealer looked at it they said it was fine. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't start anymore. It sounded like it wasn't getting any fuel to the engine. The tires were bald and with the cost of repair, since it had 50,000 miles it was out of warranty. I decided to take that money and put down on a used 2013 2500 Laramie.
Had to pull a damn chevy out due to road construction and he felt like crossing someones field right after it rained. His city cop friend flagged me down for my assistance lol
So this picture is quite old May 2012 about 2 weeks after I bought my new, at the time 2012! Completely stock on the Wrangler tires. I was running a bit behind to get to work which normally wasn't an issue living 5 minutes from the refinery at the time. However when I got to the road I always used (dirt/gravel) it had a road closed sign. I wasn't about to be late and I had just bought a truck for such an occasion! Needless to say I had a smile all day long!
Since then Ive added a bit of stuff here and there but next week my 35" MT's come in and ill post a new pic then
This was from our trip to death valley, it handled great with once exception, the !#$!#$!#$ PLASTIC transmission oil pan with no skid plate...
I hit a pointy rock that bent the cross member, bashed a hole in the pan and all the oil came out. Got it repaired the next day and we were back on the trial. Now I need to find these mythical 4th gen body armor components.
Overall the truck did great, especially on the wash board roads, 50-60 MPH with out any problem.
Hey kinda off topic but can anyone find that thread about the lifts and tire sizes? I can't remember the title but it was something like that "official lift size and tire size thread" or something along those lines. I think it was a sticky but I havnt been on here for a while and can't find it anywhere. Would be much appreciated if someone could link me it!
Thanks.
