Default shocks help

Hi I have an 07 dodge ram hemi 4X4 and my front shocks are shot and I was told that rancho shocks are really good shocks. I'm looking at the rancho RS5000 or the RS9000XL shocks, but I'm not sure if the RS900XL's are worth getting without the controller. I don't do a lot of off-roading and I'm looking for a pair of shocks that will last and deliver a smooth, comfortable ride. If you have any other brands that you think will be better let me know, thanks

Get the Bilstein 5100 series shocks. I've had them for a little over a year and love them. the ride is smooth and they perform better off road then the originals ones did. also you have the option to level the truck with the bilsteins which in my opinion is the best way to do it.

I just ordered the Rancho Quick Lift Loaded for the front and RS9000XL's for the rear of my '07. They won't be here til next week and hopefully will get in the truck next weekend. I'm thinking of doing a write up on the install. I'll definately take a bunch of pics and be back here to let everyone know how they perform.
